Recording, Mixing & Mastering

Whether you need us to work on vocal recordings, individual mixes or full album production, our philosophy on record production is about delivering the soul of the composer’s vision to the audience as effectively as possible, be that through the recording process, mixing down existing recordings and productions or completing the final touches in mastering.
For us that usually means using hardware to get hands on and spend as little time as possible looking at screens and as much as possible listening to the audio.

In house, we record and mix using a Soundcraft TS24 console running into Apogee Symphony MkII converters providing a solid signal path from microphone to the DAW. Neumann and Dynaudio monitoring is used in the control room along with a range of hardware processing from Focusrite & EMT amongst others.

As well as our recording, mixing and mastering services, using an ex BBC World Service Studer A807 we also offer Audio Restoration & Tape Transfer services to clients wishing to transfer their old ¼” tapes for listening on their modern digital systems or simply for digital archiving.
